Technical Project Manager



As a Technical Project Manager, you will directly contribute to the success of ArmadaHealth’s team in solving a variety of technical challenges as well as helping define, build and release new products to the market.  You will play a pivotal role in managing projects through the entire product development lifecycle, from inception to design, development, deployment and subsequent improvements.  You will also be responsible for delivering development projects’ timely release and within budget.  You will be tasked with challenging and novel situations every day, and coordinate high profile projects.

Qualified candidates will use Project Management best practice tools to lead cross functional teams focused on product and process development, software platform improvements, while maintaining compliance with all appropriate processes, systems, plans and procedures.

Candidates should have strong technical ability and background, be systematic, and be highly motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.  Candidates should be willing to roll up their sleeves and complete the definition and set-up work required, and have a high level of ownership and accountability throughout the entire product development life cycle.


  • Ensure that software product is developed per business and technical requirements
  • Lead the planning around verification and validation of software product, unit and integration testing, regression analysis, root cause analysis and manages QA plan end-to-end
  • Gather and manage requirements from all stakeholders, including business and technical owners, helping to drive the definition and scope of the project
  • Lead the creation and execution of a project plan based on the requirements approved by the CEO
  • Understand, and be able to communicate to the CEO, the budget and resource impact of change requests
  • Help define work efforts and required skill sets to identify required roles and resources
  • Assist with recruitment and training of additional internal project management resources when needed
  • Build relationships with team members as well as become an expert in our products to drive the delivery of requirements, end vision, and product enhancements
  • Understand and project plan against the CTOs strategy for the implementation, deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and the production environment
  • Work closely with external IT vendor on project release to ensure a successful product development cycle as defined by the project plan
  • Card/schedule work for the Agile development process and continually interact to provide support and clarification with the team through sprint planning and management
  • Identify and escalate project risks along with a mitigation strategy


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 6 years of experience as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, IT Consultant, and/or any job involving software development
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience, working with HealthCare, Insurance or similarly industry
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical project management, managing and scoping complex software projects through the software development lifecycle
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience directly interacting and working with Engineering/Development teams (engineering management experience preferred)
  • Experience with defining metrics that can gauge the success of solutions and the team
  • Creating and maintaining weekly reporting summaries and status updates for management
  • Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and leadership skills, ability to communicate with diverse partners with confidence, clarity, and focus, verbally and in writing
  • Execution focus, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and resolve issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding the impact of changes to project scope or timeline
